During
the past 10 years
Advanced Technologies Group, Inc. (ATG)

has been awarded 9 phase I SBIR contracts, with 6
transitioned to phase II awards. ATG is currently
engaged in two phase III efforts. Under a NASA BAA,
ATG was awarded a contract to develop an optical
mass gauge for use on the ground and in zero-gravity
applications. In another effort, ATG is implementing
hardware on commercial gas-turbine engines that will
substantially reduce fuel consumption (up to 10%)
and hence, reduce CO2 emissions. All technology
currently being developed at ATG was initiated under
an SBIR contract. These efforts have lead to 8
patents issued or pending.

As a
direct result of SBIR, ATG has grown from a single
person entity (formerly JUSTAK R&D, Inc.) to a 10
person company that is being sought out for their
expertise and outsource capabilities. Lead by John
Justak, ATG has been awarded multiple contracts with
NASA, NAVAIR, The US Army and the D.O.T. ATG
personnel include several PhD’s and advanced degree
engineers with expertise in electro-optics and
software thru mechanical design and combustion
science.
